Growing Grandmas Follies: Building a Legacy of Connection

Grandmas Follies started with a simple idea: make people smile.
What began with a lost stuffed bear and a desire to help children find something they loved has grown into a much bigger vision: one centered on connection, community, joy, and legacy.
As I grow Grandmas Follies, I see an increasing need for people to feel connected. Families are changing. Communities are changing. Many seniors are navigating new challenges, while families everywhere are looking for support, belonging, and meaningful ways to stay connected.
Recent AARP research reinforces what we see around us: social connection matters, and older adults place real value on community and relationships.

That is why I don't want Grandmas Follies to be just another online gift shop.
I want it to become a virtual community where we build together—where laughter is welcome, stories are shared, generations connect, and every purchase can help carry a little more joy forward.
Our vision is growing. While our carefully curated, fun products are an important part of Grandmas Follies, they’re just the beginning. Through partnerships, collaborations, UGC, shared stories, and community participation, we’re building something bigger: a community-driven brand rooted in connection, joy, and the belief that we can create more together.
We can build a legacy of connection—together.
Because sometimes what people need most isn't another thing.
It's a reason to smile, someone to connect with, and a community that reminds them they matter.
Thanks for ALL the years of support; can't wait to grow this family and the resources we offer.
